Job summary

Zurchers in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team. You will provide exceptional customer service, assist with balloon décor and bouquet creation, and support daily store operations with enthusiasm.

This full-time role involves opening/closing the store, inventory counts, scheduling employees, and ensuring accurate reconciliations. Prior retail supervision is a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience beneficial.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to lift and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist with balloon decorations and bouquet creation.
• Operate cash register, handle money, and maintain accurate transactions.
• Stock shelves, receive freight, and perform daily reconciliations.
• Supervise a team, assist with scheduling, and oversee store zone management.
• Open and close the store according to schedule and ensure store is clean and organized.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for an Assistant Manager include but are not limited to providing exceptional customer service, filling balloons, creating bouquets, operating a cash register, handling money, stocking shelves, lifting and carrying boxes, climbing ladders, cleaning, supervising a team, opening and/or closing the store, doing daily reconciliations, completing inventory counts, other inventory management, receiving freight, assisting with scheduling employees, and store zone management.

Position Details

This position is a Full Time position which requires the following schedule:

• Mondays: Off
• Tuesdays: 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM
• Wednesdays: 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM
• Thursdays: 01:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Fridays: 10:30 AM to 07:00 PM
• Saturdays: 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM
