Job summary

Palm-Beach-Tan in Portland, OR seeks outgoing leaders to manage daily salon operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service while building lasting client relationships.

The MITs will undergo a comprehensive training program to prepare for a future management role, with performance-based bonuses and opportunities for advancement in a fast-paced skincare environment.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience.
• Two+ years of management experience or equivalent.
• One+ year of face-to-face sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day salon operations including labor and staff.
• Meet sales quotas and track performance daily/weekly/monthly.
• Consult customers professionally and build loyalty.
• Increase customer traffic through local store marketing.
• Maintain client billing records and delinquent accounts.
• Keep salon clean and organized; handle cash and opening/closing.
• Complete daily admin work and performance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Managing all day-to-day salon operations including labor control, staff hiring, development, and retention
• Meeting team and individual sales quotas, measured daily/weekly/monthly
• Consulting customers in a professional, upbeat manner
• Proactively building loyalty and long-term relationships with customers
• Increasing customer traffic through local store marketing
• Maintaining up-to-date client billing records, including tracking and reconciling delinquent accounts
• Maintaining a clean and organized salon
• Cash handling, opening/closing business
• Daily administrative paperwork and goal tracking

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent
• Proven customer service experience
• Two or more years of management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• One or more years of face-to-face sales experience
• Reliable transportation, and flexible availability including nights & weekends
• Friendly competitive drive to meet sales goals
• Polished professional appearance
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Attention to detail and organization
