Job summary

Chico’s in Panama City Beach, FL is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the team and delivering a seamless, hospitality-driven customer experience.

You will help hire, develop, and coach associates, drive sales, manage inventory, and uphold store standards while building community connections through in-store events. This is a Regular/Full time role requiring flexible availability and a passion for fashion and empowering confidence.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and creating a seamless customer experience. This position helps foster a welcoming environment—for both associates and customers—that enables us to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
