is one of the largest smoothie retailers with over 1,100 locations throughout

Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting in

the oversight of operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience and the

financial success of the store.

That means as we grow as a company, there’s opportunities for you to grow with us - as we will be actively looking for future General Managers and Leaders.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Foster a Fun work environment, encourage open communication, and promote team member involvement in decision-making processes
• Ensure our Guests’ purposes are met when smoothies are ordered
• Ensure all smoothies are blended according to the recipe ticket for a consistent taste
• Assist in the recruiting, hiring, training and development of a high performing staff
• Assist with staff scheduling
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines, store appearance, and cleanliness are upheld and consistent with Smoothie King brand standards
• Assist with the cleanliness and maintenance of the store
• Assist in ordering of supplies using a specific budget based on store requirements
• Management of the store on weekends and in the General Managers absence
• Cleary and effectively delegate tasks to achieve successful operations of your store
• Ensure the store opens on time on the weekends
• Approach all tasks with a positive attitude
• Communicate with fellow Team Members and Managers in a positive manner
• Show up on time for work and ready to work
  
  

Qualifications

• Possess superior customer service skills
• Must be hard working, enthusiastic and energetic!
• Ability to “Think on their feet" at all times regardless of internal or external pressures
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, and general POS functionality)
• Must be able to stand for periods of up to eight (8) hours
• Ability to tolerate exposure to a wide variety of fresh, dried and/or frozen products, and powdered substances, including, but not limited to, strawberries, bananas, peanuts, tree nuts (such as almonds), milk, soy, proteins, trains and spices without posing a direct threat to personal health and safety
• Ability to follow procedures and willingness to comply with dress code requirements
• Ability to keep the store clean and follow food safety regulations
• Ability to operate a blender and POS cashier system
• Ability to move boxes, weighing up to 55 lbs throughout the store
• Ability to position self to bend, reach and scoop through assigned shifts
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40°F to -10° F
• Ability to concisely communicate details about Smoothie King products and information to all Guests
• Ability to balance personal life without interference to their work schedule
