Base pay range

$21.00/hr - $22.00/hr

As Assistant Manager, you will work closely with your General Manager and team to ensure the success of your Wingstop Restaurant. This role is preparing you to become a future General Manager. You must convey the Wingstop culture to fellow team members and be a creative team player passionate about hard work, having fun, and demonstrating sincere dedication to the brand's success.

Qualifications/Education/Experience
  • 2 years of previous food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory experience preferred
  • Food Handler Certification required
  • 6 months experience using a computer and POS system
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, late nights, and holidays
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in meeting store goals and support all positions when necessary
  • Drive operational excellence by increasing sales and controlling costs
  • Create a safe and positive environment for team members and guests
  • Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events
  • Develop positive relationships with team members and address their needs
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest needs
  • Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and developing team members
  • Follow cash management policies and ensure proper practices
  • Track inventory and manage orders, ensuring accurate records
  • Resolve guest issues efficiently and positively
  • Maintain operational standards and communicate maintenance needs
  • Use company tools to coach and develop team members and ensure risk management standards
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Genuine desire to serve guests
  • Calm and tactful demeanor in difficult situations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with urgency
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership skills to manage and motivate a diverse team
  • Problem-solving and quick learning abilities
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Meet safety and quality standards, including providing quality food, cash handling, and store security
