Job summary

Subway in Midland, NC is seeking an Assistant Manager to focus on seven core areas: guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory control, staff scheduling, safety, and teamwork.

In addition to Shift Manager duties, you will lead a 4-12 person team, assist in planning events and promotions, manage product ordering, and help train staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Must be an excellent communicator.
• Computer knowledge is desirable.

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
