Base pay range

$23.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Our client, a media and broadcasting company, is looking for an Associate Manager (Brand Strategy and Consumer Engagement) to join their team in Los Angeles, CA! This is a 6-month contract and is a hybrid position so local candidates are required.

Reporting to the Brand Strategy & Consumer Engagement Manager, this role sits within the core team for brand marketing and social consumer-facing initiatives, interfacing with key stakeholders across the company, as well as external agencies and partners on high priority projects.

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-3 years marketing experience (preferably in the entertainment/media industry)
  • Strong visual storytelling and data visualization skills (via PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.) to powerfully bring ideas and insights to life
  • Excellent critical thinking, collaboration, and business writing skills
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Confident self-starter, with a dedication to excellence and maintaining a positive work environment
  • Must be willing to work in Los Angeles, CA

  • Passion for television, entertainment and consumer marketing - this role requires a connection and/or understanding of cultural trends and consumer mindsets, someone excited by creative innovation
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment – ability to be flexible and pivot accordingly
  • Cross-functional thinker able to engage, motivate and collaborate with internal teams across every phase of a campaign

What You Will Be Doing

  • Supporting the Manager, maintaining project tracking for multiple workstreams and deliverables to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with key teams (media, social, sales, programming, publicity, production, creative, external agencies), and managing the flow of information across teams
  • Act as point of contact with external agencies and partners, leading communication while building relationships, providing strategic/creative feedback and managing approvals
  • Assist in the development and execution of brand partnerships and marketing activations, from kickoff through post-campaign wrap-up
  • Handle administrative duties such as invoice processing, budget tracking, data entry, scheduling and note-taking
