Job summary

Jimmy John’s in Locust, IA is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee in-store operations with the General Manager. You will ensure quick, friendly service and high-quality sandwiches, while leading by example and maintaining 100% integrity.

The role covers 3-5 shifts per week, supervising 4-8 employees, and responsibilities include food prep, bread baking, meat slicing, sandwich assembly, line leadership, deliveries routing, POS use, and shift deposits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to work a 40 hour week.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Some Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Duties include food prep and bread baking.

Assistant Managers help oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. The Assistant Manager plays a major role in ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. Assistant Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As an Assistant Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, friendly, and positive.
