Job summary

Jimmy John's in LaPlace, LA seeks an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily store operations and back-of-house paperwork. You will lead by example, uphold systems with integrity, and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude.

Responsibilities include prep, handling busy rush periods, training new staff, and performing weekly inventory and audits. Strong communication with the GM about store needs is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours a week.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high stress situations in the store.
• Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision.
• Ability to key close (or key open based on the store's individual needs).

Assistant Managers work with the General Manager to oversee in-store operations and back-of-the-house paperwork. Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As a Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, eager, and positive.

Assistant Manager's responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Completing prep
• Managing busy rushes
• Training new employees
• Completing weekly inventory and paperwork audits
• Actively communicating with the GM about the needs of the store

Requirements, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours a week

Compensation:

• Health, vision, dental, insurance available
• Two weeks (80 hours) of paid time off during the three year of employment. Raises to 96 hours after 3 years and 120 hours after 5 years.
