Job summary

Soma is seeking an Assistant Manager in King of Prussia, PA to support the Store Manager in leading the team and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will foster a welcoming environment, build community connections, and drive sales while ensuring operations run smoothly and in line with brand standards.

You will help hire, develop, and coach associates, lead by example on the sales floor, and maintain inventory and store readiness.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability - including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and creating a seamless customer experience. This position helps foster a welcoming environment - for both associates and customers that enables us to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.
