Charter Foods is seeking an Assistant Manager to assist the Restaurant General Manager. You will help lead shifts, enforce brand standards, and guide team members to deliver safe, quality food efficiently.

Responsibilities include supervising front-line staff, managing inventory and finances, and maintaining a safe dining environment. The role features a 50-hour work week and advancement opportunities within a dynamic food-service setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• 50-hour work week.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Basic computer literacy and reliable transportation.
• Strong math, accounting and analytical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts to Charter Foods standards.
• Ensure tasks are completed by team members and shift managers.
• Manage inventory and maintain financial accountability.
• Deliver safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner.

Charter Foods, a franchisee of leading brands in the Food & Beverage industry, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in running great shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards and brand standards. As an Assistant Manager, you will take ownership and responsibility to solve problems with a smile, seek help when needed, and guide others. You will ensure that Team Members and Shift Managers complete all assigned duties, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability. Your friendly demeanor will ensure the delivery of safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers.

Job Requirements and Essential Functions

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
• Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry out trash containers, and place them in an outside bin.
• Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant.
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 80% of shift time.
