Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations.
• Set the example; follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from the crew.
• Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, work to a schedule, perfect image, adherence to standards, great customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation, store cleanliness, marketing and profitability.

Qualifications

• General job duties for all store team members: operate all equipment, stock ingredients, prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory and complete paperwork, clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Training: orientation and training provided on the job.
• Communication skills: comprehend and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.
• Essential functions/skills: accurate arithmetic (use a calculator if needed); make correct monetary change; verbal, written and telephone skills to take and process orders; motor coordination; computer keyboard or touch‑screen operation.
• Must have prior Domino’s pizza experience.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F+ in some work areas; sudden temperature changes.
• Fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks; depth perception; ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements

• Standing (most tasks performed from a standing position).
• Walking (for short distances).
• Sitting (paperwork normally completed in an office at a desk).
• Lifting (bulk product deliveries, up to 50 lb per case; cases stacked up to 72 high).
• Carrying (e.g., large cans, pizza sauce, trays of dough).
• Pushing (trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 lb).
• Climbing (stair navigation, ladder use for maintenance).

Physical Demands – Delivery

• Driving: deliver pizzas within a designated area; may make several deliveries per shift.
• Walking: travel between store and vehicle and to customer locations.
• Climbing: up to five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
• Carrying: carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.
• Driving requirements: valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
• Navigation skills: read maps, locate addresses, navigate adverse terrain.

Additional Information

• Stooping/bending at the pizza assembly station (duration ≈30–45 s at a time).
• Forward bending at the front counter and when stocking ingredients.
• Crouching/squatting occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
• Reaching: up, down and forward; occasionally above 72 inches.
• Hand tasks: eye‑hand coordination; use of hands continuous; shaving dough, using forearms and wrists, manipulating pizza peel and cutter.
• Use of pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and peel.
• Driving specific duties: deliver product by car, deliver flyers and door hangers.

Valid driver’s license, safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle are required.
