Job summary

Chico's is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the team and delivering a seamless customer experience. You will help foster a welcoming environment for associates and customers that reflects our culture of hospitality.

You will lead by example on the sales floor, develop staff, and ensure operations adhere to brand standards, including inventory management and community events. This role requires flexible availability and a focus on customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and creating a seamless customer experience. You'll bring to the role

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
