Job summary

Chico's in Fairview Heights, IL is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager, lead a team, and deliver a welcoming, customer-focused shopping experience.

You will drive sales, manage daily operations, assist with hiring and coaching, schedule, and maintain brand standards on the floor.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds on the sales floor and stockroom.

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and creating a seamless customer experience. This position helps foster a welcoming environment—for both associates and customers—that enables us to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

Qualifications & requirements

You'll bring to the role Passion for our brand, fashion, and empowering confidence.

Must be at least 18 years old. 3 years of retail management experience preferred. Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays. A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative. Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Pay Range: $19.00 - $23.75 Hourly USD
