Position Description

As an Applebee's Assistant Manager, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring guests and staff have a passionate and positive experience. You should be a team leader, a problem solver, and capable of handling stress effectively. You will work hard and enjoy the process!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, friendly service according to company standards.
• Promote a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee's core values.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints and resolve issues.
• Conduct guest contact and table visits as per standards.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure product quality and presentation.
• Schedule staff effectively to meet sales demands.
• Maintain safety, security, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
• Report repairs and maintenance needs promptly.
• Participate in recruiting, training, and developing staff.
• Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and document evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
• Control departmental costs and manage inventories.
• Prepare and submit daily reports accurately.
• Serve as a role model and develop leadership skills.
• Work various shifts, including weekends, and assist in all restaurant roles as needed.

Education and Experience

• At least 2-3 years of restaurant management experience.
• Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications are a plus.

Physical Standards

• Work various shifts, including weekends.
• Stand and exert mobility for up to 10 hours.
• Lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Read, write, and use small tools and equipment.
