Position Description

As an Assistant Manager at Applebee's, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring excellent guest and staff experiences. You should be a team leader, problem solver, able to handle stress, and passionate about creating a positive environment. You will work hard and enjoy the process!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure friendly, timely service according to company standards.
• Cultivate a positive culture aligned with Flynn Applebee's core values.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints and address staff issues.
• Engage with guests through table visits and ensure high service standards.
• Maintain inventory and ensure product quality and presentation.
• Schedule staff effectively to meet sales demands.
• Implement safety and sanitation standards.
• Lead restaurant organization, cleanliness, and maintenance efforts.
• Recruit and develop staff, providing training and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
• Control departmental costs and manage inventories.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately.
• Model leadership and develop store technology skills.
• Be flexible to work in all restaurant positions as needed.
• Utilize the Management Development Program for leadership growth.

Education and Experience

• 2-3 years of restaurant management experience.
• Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications are a plus.

Physical Standards

• Ability to work various shifts, including weekends.
• Stand and move for up to 10 hours.
• Lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Good communication and dexterity skills.
