Charter Foods is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in delivering smooth shifts and meeting brand standards. You will guide Team Members and Shift Managers, manage inventory and financial controls, and ensure timely, high-quality food service with a strong safety focus.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail, basic computer literacy, and solid math/analytical skills. This role requires 18+ and a reliable commute.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail, including P&L responsibility.
• 50-hour work week.
• Basic computer literacy and reliable transportation.
• Strong math, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Charter Foods, a franchisee of leading brands in the Food & Beverage industry, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in running great shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards and brand standards. As an Assistant Manager, you will take ownership and responsibility to solve problems with a smile, seek help when needed, and guide others. You will ensure that Team Members and Shift Managers complete all assigned duties, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability. Your friendly demeanor will ensure the delivery of safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers.

Job Requirements and Essential Functions

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
• Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry out trash containers, and place them in an outside bin.
• Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant.
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 80% of shift time.
