Anchor Point Management Group in Eau Claire, WI is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) for a Taco Bell unit. The AGM will provide management coverage during operating hours and supervise staff to ensure fast, friendly service, clean facilities, and safe operations.

Responsibilities include coaching employees, scheduling, inventory control, cash handling, training onboarding, and coordinating with RGM.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old or older.
  • Strong preference for an internal promote who has completed all required learning zone training and certifications.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role, preferably in a service‑related business.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
  • Open availability and ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly with a can‑do attitude.
  • Good hygiene.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to arrive to work on time.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees.
  • A positive, friendly, and courteous attitude.

  • Prepare and package food and drink products according to restaurant standards.
  • Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide change to guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including back‑of‑house, lobby, and restrooms.
  • Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
  • Restock inventory and supplies.
  • Manage shifts to ensure fair employee treatment and compliance with workplace laws and regulations.
  • Offer ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Find, hire, and develop Taco Bell employees and guide new team members during onboarding.
  • Assist with any safety concerns in the workplace.
  • Report any serious issues to manager and HR as needed.
  • Conduct food safety and prep audits daily.
  • Monitor and share responsibility for cash procedures, including daily inventory, performance, and safety.
  • Assist with schedule creation and deploying the team correctly.
  • Monitor speed of service and resolve bottlenecks to achieve goals.
  • Monitor inventory and food preparation daily to adhere to company standards.
  • Responsible for daily inventory, deliveries, restaurant opening and closing, and daily adjustments to shift staffing and crew deployment.
  • Analyze sales, labor, inventory, and controllable expenses continuously and take corrective action to meet or achieve margins and sales targets.
  • Maintain day‑to‑day responsibility for cash procedures such as bank deposits, making change, opening and closing the safe, and audits.
  • Assist the RGM to maintain proper timekeeping and payroll procedures.

Position Summary

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) provides additional management coverage of operating hours and direct supervision of operations to an individual Taco Bell unit. Like the Restaurant General Manager, the AGM is accountable for the organized, efficient, and profitable operation of the restaurant by achieving and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hospitality, accuracy, building maintenance, product quality and speed of service. The AGM directly performs hands‑on operational work on an ongoing basis to train employees, respond to guest service needs or otherwise role‑model appropriate skills and behaviors in the restaurant.
