Applebee’s is hiring an Assistant Manager to help run the restaurant profitably while upholding brand standards. You will support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, cost control, customer service, and staff development.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and at least 1 year in casual dining. We offer training, advancement opportunities, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of casual restaurant experience is required or preferred.
• High School Diploma is preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Able to meet the physical demands of a restaurant environment.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As the Assistant Manager, you will assist the Restaurant Manager in operating the restaurant profitably within the established practices and procedures of Company Operations. This position is responsible for cost control, customer service, restaurant and employee appearance, building sales, maximizing profits, and employee development.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry is required.
• A High School Diploma is preferred.
• Proficiency in POS systems.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
