Job summary

Cafua Management Company, a Dunkin franchise, is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in developing a capable team and delivering great guest experiences while driving profitable top-line sales.

You will help recruit, train and schedule staff, uphold brand standards, ensure safety and compliance, and implement production and service improvements. This position offers growth within a large franchise network.

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to recruit, hire, onboard and develop employees per guidelines.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist to recruit, hire, onboard and develop employees, maintain staffing for projected sales.
• Communicate job expectations and ensure training per guidelines.
• Hold team accountable for behavior and performance.
• Create a guest-first culture in the restaurant.
• Maintain safe, sanitary operations and comply with laws.
• Ensure brand standards and systems, including Red Book, are executed.
• Assist in action plan development and drive productivity and guest service standards.
• Review guest feedback and store assessments to drive improvements.
• Control costs to maximize profitability and adhere to security and cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrate competency in weekly inventory process and analysis.
• Demonstrate competency in writing crew schedules and monitoring labor daily.
• Execute new product roll-outs including training, marketing and sampling.
• Drive sales goals and track results.

Job description

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in their efforts to develop a team of dedicated people delivering great and friendly guest experiences and profitable top line sales. They assist in the development of Crew and Shift Leaders and fulfill accountabilities assigned by the Restaurant Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: (but not limited to)

• Assist to recruit, hire, onboard and develop employees, maintain agreed upon staffing levels for the projected sales of the restaurant
• Communicate job expectations to employees and ensure all training is completed per company guidelines
• Hold team members accountable for their behavior and performance, addressing concerns promptly
• Create and maintain a guest first culture in the restaurant
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety, and sanitation guidelines; comply with all applicable laws
• Ensure Brand standards, recipes and systems are executed including Red Book responsibilities
• Help prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and guest service standards
• Review guest feedback and restaurant assessment results and implement action plans to drive system improvements

REQUIREMENTS :

• Basic computer skills
• Capable of counting money and making change
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs
• Must be able to stand for 6+ hours at a time
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Fluent in English
