Job summary

Genghis Grill is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead front- and back-of-house operations, run shifts, and drive local marketing and sales goals in Addison, TX. You will ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with health codes while delivering a superior guest experience.

The role requires 5+ years in high-volume restaurant operations, ServSafe certification, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to train and motivate the team and manage costs effectively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of high-volume full-service restaurant experience.
• Valid ServSafe certification.
• Knowledge of county, state, and federal health codes.
• Knowledge of basic employment laws and regulations.
• Some knowledge of the Spanish language is a plus.
• Minimum high school education; college degree preferred.

The Assistant Manager is a critical member of the operations team at Genghis Grill. You would be responsible for impacting the assigned area of responsibility including front-of-house operations, back-of-house operations, running a shift, local marketing, and sales building, safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and security in accordance with company goals.

Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Extensive background, 5+ years, in high volume full-service restaurant food operations.
• Valid ServSafe certification.
• Detailed knowledge of the county, state, and federal health codes.
• Knowledge of basic employment laws and regulations.
• Some knowledge of the Spanish language is a plus.
• Minimum high school education, college degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to employees and guests.
• Ability to read and write to facilitate communication.
• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four (4) hours in length.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds in weight.
• Must possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment.
• The workplace may frequently expose the team member to heat/cold and odors.
