Job summary

The Finger Companies is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician in Houston, TX to join our maintenance team. You will perform routine maintenance across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, and support safety and compliance.

The position requires HVAC certification, on-call nights and weekends, and a willingness to work independently or with a team. Competitive hourly pay of $24 with bi-weekly payroll, plus monthly occupancy and retention bonuses.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• On-call rotation for nights/weekends.
• CPO certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Conducts regular inspections of facilities and equipment for safety and performance.
• Troubleshoots and resolves maintenance issues efficiently.
• Maintains records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Responds promptly to emergency maintenance requests and work orders.
