RHO Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager/Supervisor in Hudson County, NJ. The role supports the Maintenance Manager to keep our luxury community safe, well-maintained, and rent-ready. It requires technical skills, supervisory abilities, and a commitment to resident satisfaction.

Salary is $65,000 with comprehensive benefits; the candidate will oversee turn-key operations, manage service requests, and coordinate with contractors to maintain high standards of property care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with fluent English.
• 2–3 years’ experience in property management maintenance.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• EPA refrigerant certificates (Type I & II) plus valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property condition per safety standards and company policies.
• Manage service requests and repairs in a timely manner.
• Assist Maintenance Manager with scheduling and prioritization.
• Oversee turn-key operations and rent-ready units.
• Supervise maintenance staff and outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools; manage purchasing.
• Prepare staffing schedules within budget guidelines.
• Support preventative maintenance programs to minimize emergencies.
• Enforce safety programs and hazard communications.
• Maintain grounds, sidewalks, and building exteriors; snow removal.
• Be punctual and reliable.
