Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and impactful Assistant Maintenance Supervisor. This role requires a fully skilled technician capable of completing all service requests, including HVAC. The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor will support the Maintenance Supervisor, focus on resident satisfaction, and participate in the on-call rotation for emergency service requests.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance issues.
  2. Communicate daily with the Maintenance Supervisor and accurately record the status of service requests and make-ready units.
  3. Complete make-ready turns within 7 days, maintaining quality standards.
  4. Ensure inventory of parts and supplies is adequate, organized, and used cost-effectively.
  5. Demonstrate professionalism, urgency, and thoroughness in all service requests and make-ready tasks.
  6. Continuously learn and expand your maintenance skills.
  7. Maintain the community's appearance and resident satisfaction.
  8. Inspect and repair community areas, adhering to health and safety procedures and implementing preventative maintenance.
  9. Collaborate with office staff to ensure resident satisfaction.
  10. Accurately complete records in Yardi and utilize Sparkle for inspections.
  11. Engage in Bluecrest's culture of empowerment and transparency, providing feedback and participating in weekly discussions.
Candidate Profile

You are a problem solver with general maintenance knowledge, eager to learn, organized, and driven. You embrace change, value transparency, and prioritize customer service. You view residents as an extended family and believe teamwork is essential.

Minimum Requirements
  • Experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in an apartment community.
  • EPA Type II or Universal certification.
  • CPO certification is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation.
