Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

Full Time Rockledge, FL, US

Salary Range: $21.00 To $25.00 Hourly

About the Role:

The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting the maintenance department within the HOA industry by ensuring that all properties under management are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and appearance. This position involves assisting in the coordination and supervision of maintenance staff, managing repair schedules, and ensuring timely completion of work orders to minimize downtime and tenant inconvenience. The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor will collaborate closely with property managers and vendors to address maintenance issues proactively and maintain compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving maintenance challenges while fostering a productive and safe work environment. Ultimately, the Assistant Maintenance Supervisor contributes to tenant satisfaction and property value preservation through effective maintenance operations and team leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in building maintenance or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the real estate, rental, or property management industry.
  • CPO Certification
  • Certification in OSHA safety standards or equivalent safety training.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team training and development.
