Assistant Maintenance Manager - ($1,500 Sign On Bonus)

This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance operations, ensure property safety, and uphold community standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead by example and uphold Bozzuto's core values and culture.
• Provide excellent care to residents through timely follow-ups and meticulous completion of service tickets.
• Resolve maintenance issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Manage make-ready and apartment turnover processes efficiently.
• Implement preventative maintenance to preserve building value.
• Maintain the property's appearance and safety through general upkeep, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
• Ensure peak operational efficiency of all property components.
• Comply with all relevant building, safety, and environmental standards.
• Participate in weekend work and emergency on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in trades, facilities, or residential maintenance.
• Leadership skills with supervisory experience preferred.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA, and MSDS standards.
• Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical trades, and appliance repair.
• Basic carpentry, drywall, and painting skills.
• Experience with complex mechanical systems is a plus.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, professional appearance, and tech proficiency.
• Availability for emergency situations and ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $57,000—$60,000 USD.
