Job summary

Gables Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to keep our community in top condition and uphold the Gables signature service. You will handle HVAC repairs, plumbing and electrical tasks, perform routine inspections, and coordinate preventive maintenance to ensure a high-quality living experience for residents.

The role requires flexibility for on-call rotations, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining vacant and occupied homes to meet the Gables

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, unit inspections, preventive maintenance and related trades.
• Flexible to be on-call 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
• Solution-driven and effective in managing repairs and tasks across the community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the community and ensure a high-quality living experience for residents.
• Handle HVAC repairs, plumbing and electrical tasks, and general repairs empire-wide.
• Perform unit inspections and preventive maintenance to uphold the Gables Standard.

The Role

Our Assistant Maintenance Manager are resourceful learners who have a knack for solving mechanical challenges. From touch-up paint to plumbing and electrical repairs you approach obstacles head-on. You deliver a positive living experience for our residents by maintaining the community and taking care of the way they live with our \"signature service\".

You Are...

• Solution-driven and effective in managing HVAC repairs, plumbing/electrical installations, and general repairs throughout the community.


• Flexible in your ability to serve on call on a rotational basis any 7 days of the week 52 weeks of the year.


• Task-oriented and punctual, you're comfortable working through day-to-day tasks while meeting required deadlines for reoccurring community needs.


• Experienced in building maintenance, unit inspections, preventative maintenance, and related trades.


• Committed to the community's overall appearance and motivated to ensure that all vacant and occupied apartment homes are held to the Gables Standard.
