Job Summary :

The Assistant Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing various Maintenance Department contracts to ensure seamless execution, including evaluating contractor performance, reviewing daily operations, planning, and acting as a liaison between internal and external customers. Responsibilities include planning maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion, communicating with partners, updating schedules, and managing data in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

This role oversees major maintenance service contracts such as building, custodial, baggage handling, landscaping, janitorial, elevator, escalator, waste removal, fencing, and CNG station operations. Contract performance is measured through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key duties include coordinating with contractors, inspecting work, maintaining records, ensuring quality control, analyzing CMMS reports, maintaining reports and budgets, and collaborating with various departments and stakeholders such as airlines, TSA, and tenants.

The role involves participating in maintenance operations, responding to after-hours calls, working with DBE and SMWBE firms, assisting with procurement, and attending relevant meetings. It may also involve serving as a signatory authority and ensuring safety regulations are followed. Regular attendance and supporting the organization's core values (RISE) are essential.

Qualifications :

Required :

  • Associate's degree in a related field or 2-4 years of contract management experience in maintenance services, or less than 2 years if applicable.
  • Valid CLASS D Driver's License.

Preferred :

  • Certified Member (CM) of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).
