Job Description

Job Summary

The Assistant Maintenance Coordinator oversees various Maintenance Department contracts to ensure seamless execution, contractor performance evaluation, daily operations review, and acting as liaison between internal and external customers. Responsibilities include planning maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion, communicating with partners, updating schedules, and managing data in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Essential Job Duties
  • Oversee major maintenance service contracts, including building, custodial, baggage handling, landscaping, janitorial, elevator, escalator, waste removal, fencing, and CNG station operations.
  • Measure contract performance using KPIs and oversee contractor operations and maintenance activities.
  • Review and document all contract aspects, ensuring quality and scope compliance.
  • Develop and analyze CMMS reports to improve system performance and reduce costs.
  • Maintain reports on budgets, maintenance statistics, contractor payments, and inventory.
  • Coordinate with business partners on contract-specific requests and maintain communication with stakeholders like airlines, tenants, TSA, and MNAA staff.
  • Assist in planning, addressing maintenance deficiencies, and responding to after-hours calls.
  • Work with DBE and SMWBE firms to promote equality in contract work.
  • Support procurement processes, including bids and purchase requisitions, and review contractor invoices.
  • Assist with winter operations and special airport events.
  • Create documentation for billing and invoice processing.
  • Attend meetings, serve as signatory authority as needed, and follow safety regulations.
  • Support MNAA’s values: Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence (RISE).
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or 2-4 years of contract management experience in maintenance services. Less than 2 years' experience requires additional qualifications.

Licenses and Certifications: Valid CLASS D Driver's License. Preferred: Certified Member (CM) of AAAE.

Skills: Facility maintenance, relationship building, effective communication, workload management, proficiency in Microsoft Office, attention to detail, supervision, presentation, written comprehension and expression, learning agility, dependability, initiative, judgment, professionalism, and ethical behavior. Ability to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge.

Additional Requirements

Must be able to pass security clearance and possess an associate's degree or equivalent experience in contract management.
