Job summary

Green Bay Packaging- Midland Division in Caledonia, WI is seeking a dedicated team member to support running machine equipment, including setup, operation, quality control, cleanup, and proposing improvements to operations.

The role emphasizes safe setup techniques, inspections of tooling, and collaboration with machine operators to maximize capacity while maintaining product quality. A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year minimum relevant experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set-up equipment accurately and in accordance with proper and safe setup techniques.
• Inspect all tooling before and after run to ensure any necessary repairs are made before next run.
• Minimize material waste and assist machine operator in operating machines for efficient production of quality products.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at available capacity and speed.
• Submit maintenance work orders for needed repairs and complete daily/weekly clean-ups.
• Provide recommendations to optimize the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals; perform continous quality checks.
• Abide by all company policies and procedures including safe work habits.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
• Adhere to GBP quality policy to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
