Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator for the Rotary Die Cutter on the 2nd shift. You will manually set up the press and ensure die cutting quality while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include die-setups, die integrity checks, and monitoring print quality. The role requires basic math, teamwork, and willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays, in Green Bay, WI.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to multi-task and keep up with production pace while meeting efficiency goals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to overtime, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Set up press, print, score and die cut accurately per specs.
• Inspect dies before and after a run for repairs.
• Ensure bolts for die cut cylinder are secured.
• Monitor box quality: liner, warp, size, die cut, print.
• Become efficient in machine areas: pre-feeder, rotary press, bundle breaker, load former.
• Ink management: adjust pH and viscosity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Inspect all dies before and after a run to ensure any necessary repairs are made before the next run.
• Ensure all bolts for the die cut cylinder are in place and tightly secured.
• Monitor box quality including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, die cut, and print.
• Become efficient in all aspects of the machine - pre-feeder, rotary press, bundle breaker, load former.
• Ink management skills/color adjustment (PH and Viscosity).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
