Machine Operation Support
- Assist the Machine Operator in setting up and operating the Langston machine for production runs.
- Load corrugated sheets, bundles, and related materials into the machine as required.
- Monitor machine performance and alert the operator to equipment issues, jams, or quality concerns.
- Assist with machine adjustments to maintain production efficiency and product quality.
- Remove finished product from the machine and prepare for downstream processing, stacking, or shipment.
Quality Control
Inspect products throughout the production run for defects, including:
- Print quality
- Slotting and scoring accuracy
- Die-cut quality
- Glue application
- Bundle integrity
- Perform quality checks using measuring devices and approved inspection procedures.
- Report nonconforming materials or products to the Machine Operator and Supervisor.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Remove scrap and waste material from production areas.
- Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
Production and Documentation
- Assist in achieving production schedules and efficiency targets.
- Support changeovers and setup activities to minimize downtime.
- Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, maintenance personnel, and team members.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience in corrugated packaging, converting, or printing operations is a plus.
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read work orders and production specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to push, pull, and move materials throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and moving machinery.
