Green Bay Packaging is seeking an Asst Machine Operator at our Fort Atkinson, WI facility. This role supports machine operation, quality control, and efficiency on the production line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year minimum relevant experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set-up equipment accurately and in accordance with proper and safe setup techniques.
• Inspect all tooling before and after run to ensure repairs are made before next run; minimize material sheet, ink and adhesive waste.
• Assist Machine Operator in operating machines to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Maximize equipment utilization by running machinery at available capacity and speed.
• Submit maintenance work orders for needed repairs.
• Complete daily and weekly equipment clean-ups.
• Provide recommendations to optimize schedule for cost, quality and service goals.
• Perform continuous quality control by sampling materials for size, scoring, slotting, printing and folding.
• Abide by all company policies and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Adhere to GBP quality policy to ensure customer satisfaction.
