About This Position

This position manages the FSW team to ensure that the correct processes are followed and executed. Manage day-to-day operations of the LH when Director is absent. Responsible for maintaining the inside and outside of the LH building.

Demonstrates Christ-like maturity in words, behavior, and attitude in all job duties and responsibilities. Displays professionalism in handling private and sensitive confidential information in regards to guests, students, volunteers, and donors. Serves as a member of the ODM Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Lydia House Director concerning guests, staff, and building issues.
  • Develop and enhance job related relationships with individuals and agencies.
  • Develop goals, objectives, and plans for emergency services Ministry.
  • Manage assigned staff—including work schedules.
  • Assist in hiring and training of staff.
  • Provide emergency crisis counseling, problem solving, and de-escalation when necessary.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in the human services or related field.
  • 2 or more years of human services experience.
  • Must be a team player, and have an excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to share the gospel and make disciples.

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE...

  • 2 years of experience in managing in a social service agency
  • Master's Degree in related field
