CURE is currently seeking a support person to join our in-house law firm. In this position, you will support our in-house law firm legal staff. Your job duties will include picking up mail, delivering mail within the firm, and ensuring outbound mail is taken to the post office. You will also be responsible for scanning, uploading, and routing case referrals and documents to the appropriate legal staff.

Essential Job Functions

• Pick up mail from an offsite location


• Deliver mail to appropriate legal staff


• Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems


• Deliver documents to adversaries and courts as needed


• Scan, upload, and email documents to the appropriate legal staff


• Ensure outbound mail is delivered to the USPS daily


• Order and restock supplies


• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License


• Computer proficiency and knowledge in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Pitney Bowes, and Adobe.


• Must be detail-oriented and organized.


• Ability to multi-task.


• Professional and articulate in person, on the phone, and in written communication


• Must be a team player


• Legal/law firm experience preferred with the litigation or insurance defense. The candidates must possess excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills, and the ability to multitask.

Physical Actions/Environment

Working conditions are typical of an office environment. Required job duties consist of prompt and regular attendance, ability to frequently move about the office to coordinate work with others; standing, sitting, and typing for extended periods; and lifting and/or carrying up to 10-20 lbs. Ability to frequently communicate with others in person, on the phone/virtually, and in writing.

Schedule

8:30 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday. This position will be onsite 5 days per week.
