The Department of Marketing at Ball State University has a full-time contract faculty position available beginning August 2025.

Primary responsibilities include teaching 12 semester hours each Fall and Spring semester in Social Media and Digital Marketing, with the ability to cover undergraduate professional selling and/or marketing courses as needed.

This is an on campus position with course work which may be delivered on campus or online.

Minimum Qualifications

MBA or Masters Degree in a marketing-related field. Minimum of five years of mid- or upper-level professional experience in an area relevant to teaching responsibility.

Authorization to work in the US

Authorization to work in the US Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Completed Doctorate or ABD in Marketing or other Marketing-related field, teaching experience in professional selling, digital marketing/social media, or other Marketing-related area at the university level as well as experience with new technology and online instruction.

Innovative teaching and genuine interest in business as a force for good are preferred.
