McHale Landscape Design, Inc. seeks an Assistant Landscape Designer to join our design and build team in McLean, VA.

You will assist in site measurements, drafting base plans, construction details, and coordinating with subcontractors and clients throughout design and installation. The position requires a landscape industry bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years’ experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with SketchUp, CAD-based tools, Vectorworks, Lumion, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in landscape industry.
• 2+ years of experience in landscape industry.
• Residential landscape experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Site measurements and plat/elevation confirmation.
• Base map and construction detail drafting.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and clients; assist in admin tasks.
• Assist in design presentations and sales meetings.
