Job summary

Sartell High School in Sartell, MN is seeking an Assistant Knowledge Bowl Advisor for the 26-27 season. You will instruct students in fundamental skills, organize and supervise activities, and model positive behavior.

The role reports to the Activities Director and final evaluation aligns with the high school principal; compensation follows the SEACertified contract for coaching and activities wages. A background check and board approval are required.

Qualifications

• Has the ability to assist in organizing and supervising an activities program.
• The advisor must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the activity and stay current with new theories and procedures.
• The coach must serve as an appropriate role model for students through instructions and actions.

JOB GOAL:To instruct in the fundamental skills necessary for students to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the sametime, the advisor must instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to sociallyacceptable character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride ofaccomplishment in the students. To upgrade his/her knowledge and skillsthrough teaching and mentoring.
