Job summary

Sartell High School is seeking an Assistant Knowledge Bowl Advisor to lead the Knowledge Bowl program for the 26-27 season. The coach will instruct students in fundamental skills, promote teamwork, and model positive behavior aligned with district expectations.

Responsibilities include organizing activities, staying current with program theories, and reporting to the Activities Director for evaluation and alignment with the high school objectives.

Qualifications

• Has the ability to assist in organizing and supervising an activities program.
• The advisor must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the activity and continue to examine new theories and procedures.
• The coach must serve as an appropriate role model for students through instructions and actions.

• Instruct students in fundamental skills for individual and team success.
• Demonstrate behaviors that lead to character development, self-discipline, self-confidence and pride of accomplishment.
• Report to the Activities Director with objectives and final evaluation in conjunction with the principal.

POSITION STARTS: 26-27 season

JOB GOAL: To instruct in the fundamental skills necessary for students to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the sametime, the advisor must instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to sociallyacceptable character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride ofaccomplishment in the students. To upgrade his/her knowledge and skillsthrough teaching and mentoring.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Has the ability to assist in organizingand supervisingan activities program.

REPORTS TO: The Activities Director, who provides overall objectives and final evaluation inconjunction with the high school principal.
