The role requires strong organization, conflict management, and a passion for food preparation. Schedule includes weekends/evenings/holidays with daily safety and sanitation responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; some college education encouraged.
• Two years of kitchen experience preferred.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit.
• Ability to professionally handle conflict.
• Passion for preparing and cooking kitchen items.
• Strong organization and planning skills.
• Excellent communication with diverse groups.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow department and store policies; maintain quality and freshness.
• Maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory for Harmons’ Kitchen.
• Confirm pricing accuracy and signage, especially ad items.
• Keep Kitchen cleaned, sanitized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all customers.
• Order products and create production sheets based on past and projected sales.
• Mentor and educate associates; provide performance feedback.
• Write Kitchen schedules to ensure coverage and meet labor goals.
• Conduct quarterly inventory of all Kitchen products.
