Job summary

Parker's Kitchen is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to help oversee daily operations and uphold Parker’s Kitchen food safety and sanitation standards. You will assist with maintaining efficient kitchen systems, delivering excellent customer service, and fostering employee development as you grow into kitchen leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age at hire date.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Completion of food safety certification within the first month of employment.
• Completion of a skills-based certification within the first 120 days of employment.
• Assistant Kitchen Managers must be able to work varied hours, days, and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and employees in a respectful, courteous manner.
• Speak honestly and act with integrity, upholding company values.
• Conduct weekly inventory counts and generate cost of sales reports.
• Manage and audit inventory levels to align with the budget.
• Collaborate with Kitchen Manager to learn and assist in labor budget management.
• Assist in enforcing safety policies and maintaining a safe, compliant environment.
• Stock food and beverage areas to ensure in-stock conditions at all times.
• Prepare made-to-order food and beverages as per recipe or customer specs.
• Ensure safe food handling procedures are maintained at all times.
• Communicate procedures, promotions, and new products to staff and customers.
• Support departmental success and develop others through collaboration.
