Summary

Westminster is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager who will serve as a support to our Kitchen Manager. The Assistant Manager will help in meal productions, planning meals, and health and safety practices. This position is for Early Childhood programs serving children 6 weeks to 12 years old.

Duties

• Assist and executing food prep and dish planning for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and behavior.
• Assist in documentation and structure of kitchen operations, including meeting CACFP requirements, completing food orders, prepping meals, etc.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met.
• Among other duties given by the Kitchen Manager or Preschool Site Director.
• Work Monday-Friday
• Assist in providing breaks for teachers

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver's License
• Pass background check
• Complete ILEAD Training (Early Childhood State Requirements)
• Experience around food service, prep, and handling
