Shift: 401 Shift Monday - Wednesday and every other Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at CVG 100.

Summary

Monitor the quality and efficiency performance for assigned manufacturing line(s). Drive continuous improvement through process development, root cause analysis, and systematic problem solving; utilize data from CIQ, TARS, and other sources as appropriate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Balance and optimize line throughput, including efforts to minimize changeover downtime.
• Monitor machine management data to maximize utilization and minimize scrap.
• Provide input on reducing costs by streamlining processes and systems.
• Create and maintain wave and reflow soldering profiles.
• Ensure process parameters meet standards like IPC-610B for solder quality.
• Design and procure production tooling such as stencils, vacuum plates, and fixtures.
• Coordinate line reconfigurations and machine moves, including scheduling and support group coordination.
• Verify scheduled machine maintenance.
• Promote open communication within the department and support groups.
• Follow all safety, health, and security procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1-2 years related experience or equivalent education and experience.
