Job summary

Onni is seeking an Assistant Interior Designer in Los Angeles to support the design team across commercial and hospitality projects. You will help revise CAD drawings, coordinate furniture procurement, and assist with site verifications and marketing materials.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite, a bachelor's in interior design or related field, and 2+ years of commercial interior design experience, with knowledge of codes and ADA guidelines.

Qualifications

• ASID designation or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
• 2+ years of interior design experience on commercial projects.
• Knowledge of local codes and ADA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist designers in revisions and CAD drawings for construction documents.
• Assist procurements, bids, and oversee furniture orders and installations.
• Coordinate communications with suppliers for up-to-date materials.
• Coordinate ordering of samples for tenant build-outs and amenities.
• Prepare CAD drawings for tenants, brokers, and trades.
• Implement building standards in Construction Documents.
