What You’ll Do

Media Planning & Buying – 15%

  • Assist in creating and presenting media-specific documents such as media plans, objectives, strategy decks, and related functions.
  • Help create contracts within internal systems/tools to reserve advertising space.
  • Ensure accuracy of plan details and confirmation of delivery, following proper protocols.
  • Gather rates for planning costs.
  • Analyze daypart mixes and pricing within plans.
  • Collaborate with the team for overall plan development.
  • Organize and save all documents in internal folders.

Campaign & Data Management & Execution – 40%

  • Assist in managing day-to-day communication with internal and external teams.
  • Facilitate account maintenance tasks including schedule changes, programming details, schedule imports, ADU acceptance, and trafficking requests.
  • Input schedules in SBMS and ensure weekly weights and unit mixes align with goals.
  • Proactively oversee that all deals are delivering by tracking weekly.
  • Collaborate with Ad Ops for ad trafficking and site tagging, ensuring proper QA.
  • Compile spec documents and ensure receipt of all materials from creative agencies.
  • Create post-launch campaign information such as screenshots, links, and delivery data to demonstrate proof of placement.
  • Support team members with overall buy activation.

Stewardship & Billing Reconciliation – 20%

  • Track delivery for all campaigns.
  • Verify invoice accuracy with the billing department.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Assist with post-campaign reconciliation and billing.
  • Actualize buys monthly.

Reporting & Analysis – 10%

  • Collaborate with Horizon Media Analytics teams to aggregate and validate data.
  • Monitor campaign pacing to align with plans and client goals.
  • Track buy information and post reports.
  • Analyze MSAs and delivery reports quarterly to deliver post reports to the brand team.

Learning & Development – 15%

  • Enhance knowledge of the media industry, Horizon Media, and clients.
  • Improve skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Horizon proprietary tools.
  • Participate in Horizon’s Media 101 and other training programs.
  • Learn about various departments and how they work together.
  • Attend vendor and internal meetings as applicable.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies affecting buying discipline.

Salary Range

$40,000.00 - $50,000.00

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications.
