Base pay range

$15.00/yr - $17.00/yr

Location: 4550 Red Bank Expy , Cincinnati, OH 45227

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

Start Date: June 23rd, 2025

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; CDA or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • Experience working with infants (ages 6 weeks to 12 months) in a licensed childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with families and staff.
  • CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to obtain.

Job Summary

The Infant Room Assistant Teacher is responsible for supervising and engaging infants in daily early learning activities that promote healthy development and school readiness. This position builds nurturing, trusting relationships with each child and their family while working collaboratively with lead teachers to implement curriculum aligned with developmental assessments. The Infant Room Assistant Teacher maintains a safe, stimulating, and caring environment that supports infants' cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and Supervise Infants: Actively supervise and participate in daily routines and age-appropriate activities that support infants’ cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
  • Support Curriculum and Assessment: Assist with implementing lesson plans and conducting developmental assessments (e.g., DECA, Galileo) to meet individual and group learning needs.
  • Foster Family Partnerships: Build positive, ongoing relationships with families through daily communication and collaboration focused on child development.
  • Maintain a Safe, Compliant Environment: Ensure a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom while following licensing, accreditation, and quality standards.
  • Complete Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate attendance, documentation, and modify lesson plans based on individual needs.
  • Collaborate and Grow Professionally: Work effectively with team members, attend trainings, and apply coaching feedback to improve classroom quality and teaching practices.

Compensation & Benefits
