Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Lead Infant Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing The Learning Experience's proprietary curriculum to foster infants’ growth in key developmental areas.
- Provide attentive care during feeding, diapering, and nap times, ensuring all routines are safe and meet the individual needs of each child.
- Engage infants in sensory and motor activities that support their cognitive and physical development.
- Communicate daily with parents and caregivers, sharing updates about their child’s growth and experiences.
- Maintain compliance with childcare licensing requirements and center policies.
- Support the overall operations of the infant classroom to create an environment that reflects The Learning Experience’s commitment to excellence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience in a childcare setting with infants (preferred).
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and a positive, patient attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and remain active throughout the day.
Work Schedule:
- Part-time or Full-time schedule with flexible shifts available between 6:30am - 6:30pm.
