Base pay range

$15.75/hr - $16.25/hr

Summary

This position requires a person with patience, warmth, organization, and the ability to be flexible as the needs of the children change. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have a sense of humor and playfulness, be able to interact professionally with families, and manage professional development outside of work. The infant room is busy, so applicants should maintain a calm and professional demeanor.

Duties
  • Feeding, changing diapers, and cleaning the room, as well as following instructions from the Lead Teacher and Center Director.
  • Managing paperwork as assigned.
  • Following feeding instructions carefully.
  • Assisting with developmentally appropriate play and structured positioning duties.
  • Able to lift up to 45 pounds.
  • This is a full-time, year-round position.
Requirements
  • Must have current CPR/First Aid certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of either a 45-hour course or college class in child development.
Nice to Haves
  • 12 months experience in a group care setting, preferably in infant care.
