Job summary

The Eagle Grove Comm School District is seeking an Assistant HS Volleyball Coach to support the head coach with practice planning and game strategy to build a safe, skilled, sportsmanlike team.

You will oversee matches, manage equipment and travel, and guide player growth on and off the court while communicating with students, parents, and school leaders to uphold safety and team standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to design and run drills for skill development in passing, setting, spiking and serving.
• Experience coordinating game strategy and calling timeouts during matches.
• Ability to teach volleyball rules, tactics and physical training fundamentals.
• Experience managing equipment, travel logistics and safety policies.
• Strong communication with players, parents and school officials.
• Understanding of volleyball rules and tactical concepts.
• Demonstrated leadership, patience and clear communication.

Responsibilities
