Friendship is looking for aFull Time Assistant Housekeeping Managerto join our Friendship Health and Rehab -South team, located on Starkey Road. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping staff for the building and ensuring facility cleaning schedules are maintained.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Establish daily assignments for staff
  • Collect and dispense closet keys at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Keep the biohazard storage room clean and neat
  • Ensure biohazard boxes are closed securely and assist the waste removal company with disposal; retain records of disposal
  • Serve as point of contact for housekeeping staff administrative functions (scheduling, disciplinary action, performance)
  • Ensure resident rooms are cleaned and maintained appropriately by staff

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a housekeeping management role
  • This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The employee must frequently lift or move objects weighing over 50 pounds
